There are so many wonderful memories I have of Chuck..i met him when I was nine when he taught us how to shoot hoops at the neighbors. One day it was getting dark and Chuck threw the old basketball that The neighbor had given me and it landed a little short of our property line as a result My friends father ran over it on purpose. When Chuck found out he showed up with a brand new basketball at my front door the day after. That is Chuck in a nutshell...always doing right thing and trying to right a wrong.
He was funny, brilliant and a devoted husband and father and a fearless friend that you could count on. He taught me the meaning of hope, integrity and was always there to lend an ear and would always help me fix whatever thing or situation i had a problem with. He was a man that could do anything fix anything or even make something better than the original.
He had great taste in music.( we liked the same music) he loved Jim Croce, Chevy Chase and was so funny he could have been a comedian himself. There arent enough words to explain what he was to me. I loved him deeply and my life is both changed by knowing him and changed because he's gone. Godspeed my beautiful amazing friend . I love you.
